If the number of Premium Tickets currently in possession (shown at the top of the screen in the WARDROBE) is cyan color, it means the refund has been processed.
(You need to be online to use or confirm the correct number of purchased Premium Tickets.)
All hair colors have been reset to default and all Premium Tickets used to change hair color prior to 1.21a have been refunded following a large-scale revision of the hair color change system.
There is a number of possible causes for this issue:
- You are not connected to the network, or a network error has occurred.
→ Please make sure you are connected to the network and restart the game.
- The refund may have already been applied. Premium Tickets that were used to purchase hair colors can only be refunded once.
- Premium Tickets were purchased in a different region store from the current game.
→ Please launch a game that belongs to the same region as the purchased Premium Tickets.
The fight records that appear in DATABASE, and the records required to unlock titles, are only counted from the following modes:
ONLINE (RANKED MATCH/LOBBY MATCH)
VERSUS
ARCADE
TIME ATTACK
The accomplishments in the following modes are not counted towards the fight records:
STORY MODE
DOA QUEST
SURVIVAL
TRAINING (FREE TRAINING/TUTORIAL/COMMAND TRAINING/COMBO CHALLENGE)
You will not be able to use Premium Tickets after you purchase all available items exchangeable for Premium Tickets.
(To avoid this you can check the "Number of Premium Tickets required to unlock all costumes" within "Premium Ticket Info" in WARDROBE.)
Note: You will still be able to purchase DLC costumes directly from the store, even when you own Premium Tickets. However, once you purchase the applicable DLC, you will not be able to use your remaining Premium Tickets. Please check if you own any Premium Tickets before purchasing costumes, and please check the number of Premium Tickets you will need, before purchasing them.
The data related to the ownership of Premium Tickets, and costumes purchased using Premium Tickets, is stored on each individual account, and will not be accessible from other accounts.
If you use two accounts, A and B, on your PS4, neither the Premium Tickets nor the DLC costumes purchased with Premium Tickets, purchased on account A, can be accessed from account B.
We have introduced a setting that prevents users from purchasing more tickets than the maximum number of tickets required to unlock all remaining available items (DLC costumes and hair colors).
(E.g.: If you need 20 more tickets to unlock remaining costumes and hair colors, and currently own 18, you will only be able to purchase 2 more tickets. You will not be able to purchase any sets of tickets that exceed this number.)
When characters are temporarily released for free, during that period they can only be purchased directly from the platform store. You can press △ button (Y button) in the main menu to access the store.
Some character-related BGM tracks and titles are tied to specific Fighter Levels.
Incidentally, DOA ENCYCLOPEDIA entry 065 unlocks when Nyotengu's Fighter Level reaches Level 55.
Premium Tickets can only be purchased from WARDROBE in-game:
Pressing OPTIONS button while in WARDROBE will open the Premium Tickets selection menu, and you will be transferred to the appropriate PS Store page after selecting the option you wish to purchase.
Premium Tickets can only be used when you are online. (Items purchased with Premium Tickets can still be used offline.)
(Ver.1.21a app.)
Premium Tickets will be unavailable until refund is completed. Please restart the game to make sure the refund was processed.
The purchase data for Premium Tickets and costumes respectively is stored on a server, and will be recovered when you connect to the network. The purchased costumes will be usable even after save data is deleted, as long as you connect to the network.
Data concerning Premium Ticket ownership is also stored in the Store, and will not be lost even if save data is deleted.
(Upd. Ver.1.20)
However, the hair color change data is stored in the save data and any hair color changes you have purchased will be reset if you clear your save data.
Premium Tickets can't be used if you already own all items that can be purchased using Premium Tickets.
(This can be checked by accessing "Premium Ticket Info" and "Number of Premium Tickets required to unlock all costumes" info in WARDROBE.)
Only Japanese voice audio is available for Mai Shiranui and Kula Diamond.
To access Mai Shiranui or Kula Diamond in these modes you will need to purchase character licenses from your platform store.
When fighting another person with the Event mode ON, both players 1 and 2 must simultaneously hold down the pause button to pause the game.
Note: In a future update, we plan to implement a correction that enables the game to be paused when either player 1 or player 2 holds down the pause button.
From Ver.1.03 on it is possible to pause the game when only one player holds down the pause button.

The number of replays that can be saved and stored is limited. Once you reach that limit, you will not be able to save any new replays.
To save new replays, remove existing replays from DOA CENTRAL: THEATER.
Note: The maximum number of replays that can be saved is 200.
Note: If the OPTIONS setting "Overwrite" has been turned on, when the number of saves exceeds 200, the oldest data will be overwritten automatically.
Replay data from Ver. 1.00 is incompatible with Ver. 1.01 and later versions. As such, replays created by using Ver. 1.00 cannot be played by using Ver. 1.01 or a later version.
Also, replay data created by using Ver. 1.01 or a later version cannot be played by using Ver. 1.00.

Online Play
During online matches, if one player has lower processing speed, their opponent will also experience a delay. In some circumstances, the match may not even be possible due to the discrepancies of the conditions of the opponents.
To ensure the best online experience, your graphics settings may be lowered automatically to maintain the optimal processing speed.

If the host (that is, the player who created the room) leaves the room, the room is disbanded, and remaining players are returned to the main menu.
In Ver.1.03b, the name of the room is equivalent to the online ID of the host (that is, the player that created the room). The feature that allows players to name rooms will be implemented in a future update.
⇒ The option to enter a custom room name was added in the Ver.1.05.
In games up to and including DOA5LR, the spectating system caused the network communication of the players fighting to slow down, and adversely affected the conditions for fighting.
As such, although mid-battle spectating has been removed in order to prioritize fighting over the spectating system, the conditions for fighting and consistency of spectating have been improved.
The Opponent Strength setting (Ranking range) allows you to set the Ranking of opponents you want to battle.
A search for a room will be successful only if the following 3 conditions are met at the time of the search:
1. The Rank of the room creator is within the range of the Rank setting searched for.
2. The Rank of the searcher is within the Rank range of the room.
3. The Rank range set to the room is within the range of the Rank range set at the time of the search.
In the example for this query, conditions (1) and (2) are met, but condition (3) is not, so the room is not found.
In this case, when searching, only rooms for which the Rank setting is set to F- to U+ will be found.
If you recieve an invitation for lobby match while there is a lock icon on the retail version DOA6 at the home screen, PS4 tries to activate the retail version, then moves to PlayStation™Store if you don't have the retail version. You can confirm this by checking if at the home screen there is a lock icon next to "start" under the application image for DOA6.
Solution: Remove the retail version DOA6 icon with locked mark next to "start"(press OPTIONS button and select "delete"). Then PS4 will activate DOA6: CoreFighters.
If you installed both DOA6 retail version and DOA6:CoreFighters, DOA6 retail version will be activated.
In that case, you have to shutdown DOA6: CoreFighters when you recieve a invitation during play.
There is a penalty for a dropped connection during a Ranked Match. From the time you are matched to an opponent to the finish of the match, if your connection is dropped, you will lose Ranking Points. The number of Ranking Points deducted depends on your Rank.
Note: Matching probability may be reduced for the players who are confirmed to have repeatedly dropped out of online matches.
You cannot play online matches between different platforms.
Playing in online modes without applying the version 1.01 update may cause unforeseen errors to occur, so please make absolutely sure to apply the update before playing the game.
A wavy antenna icon is used to denote players with wireless connections, while a straight antenna icon is for those with LAN connections.
Make sure that you are signed in to PlayStation™Network or Xbox Live.
If nothing displays several minutes after signing in, restarting the game may fix the issue.
If that does not work, the game may be in maintenance mode. Please wait a while and then try connecting again later.
Your network or router settings might be limiting network traffic to one way. If that is the case, then you need to change your router settings to allow communication in order to use the P2P networking used by the game.
Adjust network settings at your own risk.
1. Check the following pages to ensure that you are using the proper router settings.
PS4™: https://manuals.playstation.net/document/gb/ps4/settings/nw_test.html
Xbox One: https://support.xbox.com/en-GB/xbox-one/networking/network-settings
2. (If your router's UPnP setting is off)
Ensure that the following ports are open:
*If your router has the UPnP function enabled, it is possible for a port to be blocked even with the above settings applied. In those cases, please disable the UPnP function before configuring your port settings.
*If your router has the UPnP function disabled, be sure to also disable the UPnP setting in the Network Settings menu of your system as well.
You need to open the following ports to enable network communication for your system.
■ PS4™
TCP:80, 443, 3478, 3479, 3480, 5223, 8080,
UDP:3478, 3479, 3658,
■ Xbox One
TCP:3074, 53, 80
UDP:88, 3074, 53, 500, 3544, 4500
Please check the following pages for more details.
PS4™: https://manuals.playstation.net/document/gb/ps4/settings/nw_test.html

3. Enable the ICMP setting for your router.
*Now, please try searching for a new match again.
4. (If still unsuccessful)
Check to see that the ports listed below are open:
UDP:49152-65535
5. (If still unsuccessful)
If you are using a headset, please try disconnecting it.
By doing so, it will reduce the risk of a communication failure when creating an online session.
*Now, please try searching for a new match again.
6. (If still unsuccessful)
It may be that there are no players who currently meet your specified search criteria. Try changing your search criteria, or wait a short while and try searching again.
Known issues
After the update to ver.1.11 on Steam, a known issue has caused multiple instances of mistaken identification of disconnections caused by users during RANKED MATCHES. This issue has been corrected in the ver.1.12. However, it is possible that the disconnection rate will still incorrectly appear as 'High' for users who have experienced the misidentification issues in the past. Having your disconnection rate appear as 'High' may cause difficulties during matchmaking. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. This problem will be addressed in a future update.
Note: This does not affect PS4™ and XBoxOne versions of the game.
There is currently a known issue with Diego's Morphing Ninja Costume, where the Headband doesn't disappear even with the Faux Hawk hairstyle.
⇒ Corrected in Ver.1.12.
The recovery of Leifang's Break Blow opening attack is different from other characters.
This issue has occurred with v1.11 and will be addressed in a future balance update.
When a character attacks while jumping over an obstacle, if their opponent performs a low critical hold at the same moment, the jumping character will sometimes jump over their opponent and their attack can miss.
This is a known issue and will be addressed in a future balance update.
Sometimes attacks pass over and miss.
This is a known issue and we are currently working on the best solution.
Sometimes, when Break Blow is used against a character wearing Momiji's Glasses, glasses will remain in the air.
⇒ Corrected in Ver.1.12.
The following glasses currently cannot be equipped with Zack's "Deluxe" and Happy Wedding costumes:
Marie Rose's Under Rim Glasses
Honoka's Under Rim Glasses
Zack's Summer Sunglasses
Tina's Summer Sunglasses
Jann Lee's Summer Sunglasses
La Mariposa's Summer Sunglasses
Bayman's Summer Sunglasses
Mila's Summer Sunglasses
Diego's Summer Sunglasses
⇒ Corrected in Ver.1.09.
The following issues were confirmed to occur on the SEASIDE EDEN stage:
- The Coconut Danger does not operate correctly during online matches.
- If "OBJECT DISPLAY" setting is set to OFF in Graphics settings on the PC version or during online play, a replay of a match where a collision with a palm tree occurred will not play correctly.
These issues will be addressed in the future updates. Thank you for your understanding.
An issue concerning display and acquisition of titles and other unlocks was reported after the update introduced in the Ver. 1.04.
Unlocks that may be affected by this issue are the following:
- Titles
- Difficulty of offline modes
- System voice
- Trivia
- DOA Encyclopedia
- BGM
⇒ Corrected in Ver.1.06.
At the beginning of a LOBBY MATCH, instead of the titles set individually for each character, the titles set for "YOUR FIGHTER" are displayed. A correction will be implemented in a future update to ensure that the correct titles are displayed.
⇒ Corrected in Ver.1.05.
After update application, replay data saved in the older versions may become unplayable. Known errors are being corrected continuously. Please exit the replay through the pause menu if your replay data has become unplayable.
Various issues may occur when attempting to load data associated with version 1.01 or higher while using version 1.00. Please apply the most recent update.

- Kasumi: Costume 07
- Kasumi: Costume 08
- Kasumi: Costume 09
- NiCO: Costume 04
- NiCO: Costume 05

If only the file named "SYSTEMDATA" in the folder Documents\KoeiTecmo\DEADORALIVE6\(numbered folder)\SYSTEMDATA is deleted, the game can no longer be started. As such, please delete the "SYSTEMDATA folder" itself. If the game is started in this state, a new "SYSTEMDATA folder" and "SYSTEMDATA" file are created, and a new game can be started.
Note: This issue will be corrected in a future update.
After I deleted save data, the message "Failed to load data." was displayed, and the game could no longer be started.
