KVO x TSB 2019 Results

The second point qualifier of the DEAD OR ALIVE World Championship has taken place at KVO x TSB 2019 in Osaka, Japan on May 2nd.
Total of 96 players joined the fight, including the strongest players from DOA5LR, TeruRock and Siologica. Other strong players from several regions of Japan also attended like Tanii and keisuke, Linerback, Kazuya, PONG and Souma. North American player Kadeem “Bboy Dragon” Collins also made the long trip to Japan to participate in the qualifier.
Bboy Dragon brought the excitement with his fluent Japanese and unique style however unfortunately was not able to make it to the Top 8 Finals. The above 8 Japanese players on the other hand were able to make it to the Top 8 to see who would take the gold.
Keisuke was able to beat champion candidate Siologica and had to fight Linerback in the finals who defeated TeruRock's Kasumi and Leifang. "I've been working on how to capture keisuke's Hayabusa," said Linerback prior to the final match, performing an amazing combo by utilizing the environment in "CHINESE FESTIVAL" to light up the firecrackers with Marie Rose. First set was a 3-0 win of Linerback successfully resetting the bracket, and the 2nd set was led by Linerback 2-0 however, keisuke never gave up on the fight and was able to close the match at a close 3-2 final. As a champion, keisuke commented "I was able to change the situation by reviewing the moves I haven't used before."
The next official Asia qualifier will be at Taipei Major in Taiwan on June 8th-9th as well as the very first North American qualifier at CEO at Daytona Beach FL on June 28th-30th. Registration is available now!
