Alpha Demo Character Creation Contest Announced!
To celebrate the release of the alpha demo on September 16, 2026, we are hosting a character creation contest using the game’s Character Creation feature.
Winning entries will be implemented as appearance templates for Character Creation in the full version of Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember. We encourage everyone to participate!
All submitted entries will be reviewed by the development team. Selected winners will be announced on the official Wo Long X account (@WoLongOfficial) and the official Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember website.
- This contest is open to players of the alpha demo on PlayStation®5, Steam®, XBOX Series X|S, and XBOX on PC.

Winning entries will be implemented as appearance templates for Character Creation in the full version of Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember.
- A credit name of each winner will be included in the end credits of the full version of Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember.
- The credit name must be provided in the Roman alphabet.

How to apply
- 1.Follow the official Wo Long X account (@WoLongOfficial).

and play the Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember alpha demo. -
3.On the Character Creation screen, select Save/Additional Features and then Generate/Manage Character Creation Codes, and create a Character Creation Code for the character creation you wish to submit.
- The Character Creation Codes for PlayStation®5™ begin with “DEMOP-”, those for XBOX series X|S, and XBOX on PC begin with "DEMOS-", and those for Steam® are white and begin with “DEMOS-”.

4.Take a screenshot that clearly shows the character creation design you wish to submit, with the cursor highlighting the corresponding Character Creation Code.

5.Post the screenshot to X with the designated hashtag #WoLong2Code.
- Please note that entries will be considered invalid if the appearance preset code and the character’s appearance are not shown clearly.

- Please ensure the designated image remains in compliance with the X Terms of Service (https://x.com/en/tos) and post it within the designated campaign period.
- Anyone with an X account is eligible to participate.
- If your X account is set to private, we will be unable to view your post, and you will not be eligible to participate in this contest.
- After submitting your entry, please do not overwrite the Character Creation Code. Any overwritten codes will be considered invalid.
- Please note in advance that we may obtain participants’ personal information from X for the purposes of contacting winners or potential winners and implementing winning designs into Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember. Personal information will be handled appropriately in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Such information will be retained for as long as deemed necessary by the company. Except where disclosure is required by law or by judicial or administrative authorities, we will not provide or disclose personal information to third parties without the participant’s consent. If the winner fails to provide the required information by the deadline specified by the Organizer, the winner may be deemed to have declined the award, and the award may be revoked.
- Winners will be contacted via direct message sent to the account used for entry to confirm their credit name for inclusion in the end credits. If a winner fails to provide the required information by the deadline specified by the Organizer, the winner may be deemed to have declined the award, and the award may be revoked.
- Winners may choose to have their full name, pen name, or online handle used as their credit name.
- If changes to the game's specifications, development requirements, or other unavoidable circumstances arise, the Organizer reserves the right to modify or cancel the implementation of the winning entry as an in-game character preset and/or the inclusion of the winner's credit name in the end credits.
Entry Terms and Conditions
- KOEI TECMO GAMES CO., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) will hold the Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember Alpha Demo Character Creation Contest (hereinafter referred to as “the Campaign”) in connection with the game software Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember developed by the Company.
- Participants agree to these entry terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as “the Terms”) before entering the Campaign.
- By submitting an entry, participants are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
Before applying, please ensure that your submitted character design (hereinafter referred to as the “Design”) does not fall under any of the following categories. Any Design deemed to fall under the categories below will be excluded from the judging process at the Company’s discretion. - Violates any notes or guidelines stated in the Campaign overview
- Infringes or may infringe upon intellectual property rights (including ownership and copyrights), honor, reputation, publicity rights, privacy, or other rights of the Company, other applicants, or third parties
- Contains or may contain personal information
- Includes discriminatory content based on race, gender, etc., or content that causes or may cause discomfort to others
- Encourages criminal activity, violates public order or morals, or may do so
- Is intended for political, religious, or commercial purposes
- Deviates from the intent of this Campaign
- Is otherwise deemed inappropriate by the Company
- All intellectual property rights, including copyrights, of the submitted Designs shall belong to the Company at the time of submission.
- Submitted Designs may be used in the Company’s promotional and advertising activities, regardless of whether they receive an award.
- Submitted Designs may not be used for entry into other similar contests or for commercial purposes.
- All content included in these Terms or in notices issued by the Company (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, digitally downloaded materials, edited data, and software) is the property of the Company and is protected by intellectual property laws, including copyright law.
- Unauthorized reproduction or use of such content is strictly prohibited.
- If any claims, complaints, requests for compensation, or damages are made by a third party against the Company in relation to a submitted Design, the participant shall resolve such matters at their own responsibility and expense and shall not cause any inconvenience or damage to the Company.
- The contents of this Campaign are subject to change without prior notice.
- These Terms shall be governed by Japanese law, and the Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
