The winners of the Nioh 3 My Takechiyo Campaign (Character Creation Contest), which started on Thursday, January 29, 2026, have been selected.

We received impressive and creative entries from so many gamers who played the Nioh 3 demo and the full version of the game, and we would like to express our gratitude for all the attention this campaign received.
The development team reviewed each entry and selected six winning designs, all of which are listed below with the dev team's comments.

Winning entries will be added to the game as appearance templates for character creation in a future update.

  Our selection team unanimously agreed that this design is cool! The character creation feature was skillfully utilized to bring to life the captivating concept of a swordsman who has persevered through the Crucible. If there were a template for this, we would definitely want to use it!

  The concept of a Japanese-style necromancer is truly impressive, and this portrayal of the character carrying the burden of karma adds a striking element. The balance of the various design components is well executed, and we believe this visual would fit seamlessly into the Nioh series alongside the many yokai characters.

  The facial features, makeup, and hairstyle harmonize beautifully, resulting in a very elegant and captivating woman. Rather than appearing as a protagonist who cuts down yokai and spirits, she exudes a fleeting fragility that evokes a desire to protect her.

  The design may seem understated, but it features realistic modeling that brings out a different kind of charm compared to existing presets. We feel this is a very cool version of Takechiyo, and the level of detail is so realistic it gives the impression that a person with these features could genuinely exist.
