Basic Actions
Bloodraven Form / Gleam Form
Enter Yakumo's Bloodraven Form or Ryu's Gleam State to unleash powerful attacks that consume gauge resources.
Obliteration Technique
Press the heavy attack button on a dismembered enemy to execute an Obliteration, killing them instantly.
Ultimate Technique
While in Base Form, hold heavy attack to charge your weapon, then release after charging sufficiently to perform a powerful Ultimate Technique that gives you brief invulnerability.
Stagger
Use Bloodraven Form or Gleam State attacks to break an enemy's guard or stagger them during a Power Attack.
Flying Swallow
Swiftly slice toward an enemy from mid-air.
Wind Path
Springboard off an enemy to jump into the air.
Izuna Drop
Grab an enemy launched in the air and smash it into the ground with great force. Also deals damage to nearby enemies on impact.
Fatal Flash
Successfully anticipate an enemy's attack to trigger a parry and follow up with a swift counter attack.
Other Actions
Berserk State
Enter Berserk State in the heat of life-or-death combat. In Berserk State, performing certain attacks in Bloodraven Form will trigger a Bloodbath Kill, annihilating enemies instantly.
True Dragon Sword
Awaken the True Dragon Sword in the heat of life-or-death combat. When the Dragon Gauge is full, awaken the True Dragon Sword and connect fierce follow-up attacks to unleash True Obliteration Techniques.
Bloodbath Slaughter
Activate Bloodbath Slaughter while in Berserk State to instantly execute all enemies within range of the attack.
True Dragon's Gleam
Activate True Dragon's Gleam while the True Dragon Sword is awakened to instantly execute all enemies within range of the attack.
Ninpo
While in Gleam Form, utilize various Ninpo Magic, including The Art of the Inferno, The Art of the Wind Blades, The Art of the Piercing Void, and The Art of the Flame Phoenix.
Expansive Weapon Arsenal
Tactifully switch between a wide arsenal of weapons while developing your own combat style in the heat of battle.
Cursed Blades: Takeminakata
Unleash quick consecutive attacks with Twin Blades in Base Form, or powerful, long range attacks with Tachi in Bloodraven Form.
Twilight Piercer: Yatousen
Thrust towards enemies with the Rapier in Base Form, or drill into your enemies with the Lance in Bloodraven Form.
Tremor Staff: Magatsuhi
Smack enemies in your perimeter with the Staff, or crush them with powerful, area-of-effect attacks with the Hammer in Bloodraven Form.
Dark Arsenal: Kage-Hiruko
Execute long-range and close-range attacks utilizing various Assassin's Tools in Base Form, or use mechanical arms in Bloodraven Form to further expand your arsenal of carnage.
Dragon Sword
Execute a flurry of rapid techniques that have been passed down through the Hayabusa Clan and perform lightning-speed consecutive strikes in Gleam Form.

Difficulty Settings
Curate your combat experience with adjustable difficulty settings. Whether it be on HERO mode, which enables useful assists, or MASTER NINJA difficulty, where top ninjas earn their stripes, a rich experience awaits players of all skill levels.
Chapter Select
After completing the story, play through all chapters as either Yakumo or Ryu via Chapter Select.
Trials
Completing the story will unlock Trials, where you can further test your skills against bosses, as well as in other battles with various special conditions.
