Q2: How can I carry over DLC that I purchased for Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate on PS3™? PS4™

All DLC for DOA5 Ultimate for PlayStation®3 systems can be carried over to PlayStation®4 systems.

1. Go to PlayStation®Store with the same Sony Entertainment Network (SEN) account used to purchase the downloadable content for the PS3™ version of the game and you will be able to download the relevant DLC free of charge.

2. Select the relevant DLC and begin the download.
*Please check to ensure that the selected DLC is free of charge.

NOTE
Please be aware that we will enable the carry over of DLC purchased for Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate for PS3™ to the PS4™ version of DOA5LR as soon as the items are ready. The timing of these updates will vary by region and platform. Additionally, please note that these plans are subject to change at any time.
Q3: How can I carry over DLC that I purchased for Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate on Xbox 360? Xbox One
A3: 1. Go to Xbox Games Store with the same Xbox Live account used to purchase the downloadable content for the Xbox 360 version of the game and you will be able to download the relevant DLC free of charge.

2. Select the relevant DLC and begin the download. If you purchased a set before, you will need to download the set.
If you purchased an individual item before, you will need to download the individual item.
*Items which display "Install" on the store can be carried over.
*Items which display a price must be purchased.

NOTE
Please be aware that we will enable the carry over of DLC purchased for Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate for Xbox 360 to the Xbox One version of DOA5LR as soon as the items are ready. The timing of these updates will vary by region and platform. Additionally, please note that these plans are subject to change at any time.

UPDATE:
The current Xbox Store setup does not allow DLC to be carried over in sets. In order to carry over a DLC set from the Xbox 360 version, you will need to download each item from the set individually.
Q4: How can I carry over my save data from Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate for PS3™? PS4™
A4: *You cannot import your save data if you have already created save data for DOA5LR on PS4™. In this case, you will need to delete your save data for DOA5LR on PS4™ and follow the procedure described below.

1. Install the update scheduled to be made available from February 17th for the PS3™ version of Dead or Alive 5 Last Round (or Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate). *Applying the update to DOA5U will change the game title to "Dead or Alive 5 Last Round."

2. Select "Options" from the main menu on Dead or Alive 5 Last Round for PS3™ and press the ■ button to upload your save data online.

3. Start up Dead or Alive 5 Last Round for PS4™ while it is connected online.
Carrying over your save data will enable you to keep items such as your game progress, and any titles you have obtained.

Q5: How can I carry over my save data from Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate for Xbox 360? Xbox One
A5: *You cannot import your save data if you have already created save data for DOA5LR on Xbox One. In this case, you will need to delete your save data for DOA5LR on Xbox One and follow the procedure described below.

2. Install the title update for the Xbox 360 version of Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate scheduled to be released after February 17th. *Applying the update to DOA5U will change the game title to "Dead or Alive 5 Last Round."

3. Select "Options" from the main menu on Dead or Alive 5 Last Round for Xbox 360 and press the X button to upload your save data online.

4. Start up Dead or Alive 5 Last Round for Xbox One while it is connected online. Carrying over your save data will enable you to keep items such as your game progress, and any titles you have obtained.

Q6: What costumes are included with the package release of Dead or Alive 5 Last Round? PS4™

A7: DLC costumes for DOA5U for PS3™ are only available in packs on PlayStation®Store for the PS4™ version of the game. If you wish to purchase individual costumes, you will need to purchase them for Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate on PS3™ and then carry over your save data.

Q1: Can I use DLC with the trial version of the game? Xbox One
A1: You are unable to use downloadable content such as characters, costumes or the Story Mode with the trial version of the game for Xbox One. Please take care not to purchase items which you will be unable to use. If you want to use downloadable content, please purchase Dead or Alive 5 Last Round (Full Version) or Dead or Alive 5 Last Round: Core Fighters
Q2: It's taking a long time to boot the package version of the game for Xbox One. Xbox One
A2: Since the package version needs to load the DLC on the first time it starts up, it will take some time (about 30 min.) before you are able to play the game.
Q3: The game title remains Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate even after applying the title update. PS3™
Xbox 360
A3: Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate for PS3™ and Xbox 360 will become "Dead or Alive 5 Last Round" with this update, but the game title in the XMB™ or the Xbox Home screen will remain "Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate." If the Dead or Alive 5 Last Round title logo is present on the title screen, then the update has been applied correctly.
Q4: How can I play Dead or Alive 5 Last Round on Xbox 360? Xbox 360
A4: You can play Dead or Alive 5 Last Round on Xbox 360 by downloading the free update for Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate on Xbox 360. The extra characters (Marie Rose, Phase 4, Nyotengu, Honoka, Raidou) are not included in the free title update.

In addition, please note that we do not offer a digital version of DOA5LR for Xbox 360. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

A11: Content that is purchased and installed while the game is booted will be usable after you exit and restart the game. Also, in some cases DLC can only be used when you are signed in to PSN℠ or Xbox Live, so please make sure you are signed in before playing.

Released Patch v1.03.

Xbox Store only displays up to 25 results when searches are performed from the in-game menu. To search all DLC, please follow the steps below:

1. Select "Xbox Store" from the top in-game menu.
2. At the Marketplace Results screen, press the Menu button.
3. Select "Xbox Store home" from the menu.
4. Select "Games" from the Home menu.
5. Select "Search".
6. Enter the name of the content you want to search for in the search field (e.g. "School Uniform Kasumi")
7. Select the content from the results screen and confirm the download.
8. Navigate down to the "Queue" tab to confirm that the content is installing.
9. The content will be ready to use once the installation is complete.
* Your Xbox One console must be connected to Xbox Live.

Q1: I purchased the digital full version of the game, but when I started the game after the download finished, I was only able to use four characters. PS4™

A1: The game might still be installing. Although you may play the game before it has finished installing, some game modes and characters may not be available until the installation is complete. You will be able to use all characters and all modes once the installation has finished. When you try to select a mode that is not playable yet, a message will be displayed informing you that the installation is still in progress.
Q2: I purchased the disc version of the game, but when I started the game, I was only able to use four characters. PS4™

A3: When the save data for your Xbox One has reached its limit, you may not be able to save any additional photos or replays.
If you wish to save additional media, please delete some existing photos from the Album. As a general guide, you can save up to approximately 100 photos in total.
Q4: I am unable to change hairstyles, glasses or other costume details on the Character Select screen. PS3™

A4: Hairstyles, glasses, and other costume details can only be changed on the Character Select screen in the PS4™ and Xbox One versions of the game.
Additionally, there are also special hairstyles unique to the PS4™ and Xbox One versions of the game.
Q5: Can you tell me about post-launch DLC for the PS3™ and Xbox 360 versions of the game, as well as any patch or update plans? PS3™

A5: We are approaching the limit of additional downloadable content we can provide for the PS3™ and Xbox 360 versions of the game due to hardware constraints. There is a possibility that you will be unable to download new DLC or patches and title updates for the game on those platforms.
We are currently looking into the problem, and will issue a notification as soon as we have more information.
Moreover, any previously released DLC, as well as preorder costume packs for Dead or Alive 5 Last Round can be used.
The PS4™, Xbox One and Steam versions of the game do not have this particular issue.
Q6: I just bought an Xbox One and I am having trouble setting it up. Xbox One

Q8: How does the Throwdown Challenge icon work? All
A8: When Throwdowns are set to "Accept" in Arcade, Versus (COM), or Free Training mode, you will be searching for an opponent as you play. If a potential opponent is found, a blue icon will appear at the bottom right of the screen. Use one of the commands below to send the player a Throwdown Challenge. The receiving player will see a red icon, at which point they can also enter one of the commands below to start the fight.

Additionally, due to a change in Facebook policy, DOA5 Plus, DOA5 Ultimate and the PS3™ and Xbox 360 versions of DOA5 Last Round will be unable to link to Facebook (titles, achievements, photos and videos) from April 30, 2015.
Q4: What is meant by NAT type? PS4™

A10: Your network or router settings might be limiting network trafiic to one way. If that is the case, then you need to change your router settings to allow communication in order to use the P2P networking used by the game.
Adjust network settings at your own risk.

Ensure that the following ports are open:

*If your router has the UPnP function disabled, be sure to also disable the UPnP setting in the Network Settings menu of your PS3™ system as well.

If the antenna is still missing, the host may have the ICMP setting disabled. 
Although you may be able to join the lobby with no antenna present, it can fail if there is a connection problem between you and the host. 
Q12: Will the World Rankings/Leaderboards be reset? PS3™
Xbox 360
A12: Due to game balance adjustments made to Dead or Alive 5 Last Round, all of the World Rankings/Leaderboards will be reset on February 17, 2015 at 0:00 (UTC). Any replay data that has been uploaded to the server will be deleted at this time.
*Please note that the time for resetting the servers may be changed at any moment and without prior notice.

Q1: After installing the title update for Dead or Alive 5 Last Round on PS3™, players are unable to advance the game when forming a tag team with Hayate and Phase 4. PS3™
A1: 3/18 Fixed in the 1.01A patch (Xbox One/Xbox 360)/1.02 patch (PS4/PS3) along with hang issues that occurred in other situations. Please refrain from forming the above tag team for the time being. We are currently planning to address this issue with a future update.
Q2: Pausing a replay when it shows a Power Blow being aimed may cause the game to crash. PS4™
A2: 3/2 The 1.02 patch for PS4™/PS3® has been released. Please refrain from pausing the replay during the situation described above. We are currently planning to address this issue with a future update.
Q3: The game crashes while searching for an opponent or a lobby for Ranked Matches, Lobby Matches, and Throwdowns. Xbox One
A3: 3/2 The 1.01a patch for Xbox One/Xbox 360 has been released. As of February 20, 2015, we have found that crashes become more frequent as when there is heavy network traffic. You can avoid this issue in Training Mode, Arcade Mode, and Versus Mode by setting Throwdowns to Decline. We are currently planning to address this issue with our next update.
Q4: The game does not progress after initiating or cancelling a search for a Ranked Match or Lobby Match. PS4™
A4: 3/18 Improved in the 1.02 patch for PS4. The user is now automatically signed out of PSN℠ as an interim fix. The full fix is planned for a future patch. Please try quitting the application or signing out of PSN and signing in again. We are currently planning to address this issue with our next update.
Q5: Sometimes the game freezes when switching from Training Mode, Arcade Mode, or Versus Mode to another mode. PS4™
A5: 3/18 Improved in the 1.02 patch for PS4. The user is now automatically signed out of PSN℠ as an interim fix. The full fix is planned for a future patch. This can sometimes be avoided by setting Throwdowns to Decline. In addition, you can try quitting the application or signing out of PSN and signing in again. Q6: The game does not work with arcade sticks. Xbox One
A6: 3/2 The 1.01a patch for Xbox One/Xbox 360 has been released. We are currently discussing possible solutions with hardware manufacturers.
Q7: I received an error message informing me that I was signed out of the network while I was playing in Arcade, Versus (COM), or Free Training mode. PS4™

A7: I received an error message informing me that I was signed out of the network while I was playing in Arcade, Versus (COM), or Free Training mode.
Q8: There are some differences between moves on different platforms. For example, when Zack starts a fight with a low kick hold in the Lab stage, the damage is different depending on the platform. The same goes for whether or not Nyotengu's Nowaki (←P+KP) lands after the Special Danger Zone is triggered on the lower level of Scramble. All
A8: A few moves have been found to behave differently on different platforms. These are planned to be fixed in future patches.
Q9: The game sometimes crashes when I press the OPTIONS button to use text chat during a Lobby Match. PS4™
A9: This can occur after applying PlayStation®4 system software version 2.50 if an external keyboard (e.g. USB keyboard, Bluetooth® keyboard) is connected to the PS4™ system.
To prevent the game from crashing, you can either avoid having the external keyboard connected when using the on-screen keyboard or avoid pressing the OPTIONS button when the extenal keyboard is connected.
We plan to fix this issue with a compatibility update for system software version 2.50.
Q10: Selecting Zack's Fighter Force costume on PlayStation®3 systems causes the game to crash. PS3™
A10: Selecting Zack's Fighter Force costume when both of the following catalogs are installed will cause the game to crash.
We plan to fix this in the next update.

Q11:NEW In Ver.1.04, the game crashes sometimes in online matches. PS4™
Xbox One
A11: In Ver.1.04, the game crashes in online matches if the Move List is displayed. To prevent this issue, go to OPTIONS → GAME SETTINGS → FIGHT SCREEN INFO and set the Move List to OFF. This issue will be fixed in the next update.
