I grew up playing every fighting game you can think of. KI, SF, SSB, MK, KOF, Battle arena toshiden etc. When the original Xbox came out my family purchased Dead or Alive 3 and it was really fun and I thought the graphics were amazing. Of course I was a button masher (well I still am mashy :)) but it was still enjoyable to me. DOA2U was the first game I actually took the time to learn of all the fighters and its because it was online. And I became addicted to competing in DOA4. There's nothing more exciting knowing everyone is watching your every move to see who comes out on top. I put a lot of effort into my craft and enjoy being successful.
